CLK Construction (apps/clk-construction)

Public website for CLK Construction Inc., a Class A contractor serving Roanoke, Virginia: decks, remodeling, residential, and light commercial construction.

Client intake and roadmap: Epic #428.

Architecture (ADR-0003)

• Worker A (this app): stateless Edge SSR (output: "server", session: false) cached at the Cloudflare edge through Astro’s cacheCloudflare() route-cache provider. Every public page carries Cache-Tag: tenant:clk-construction, so a single tag purge refreshes the site after a CMS edit. No D1 or KV bindings.
• Worker B (services/cms-clk-construction): EmDash CMS with the only D1 and R2 bindings. src/middleware.ts proxies /admin* and /_emdash/* to it over the CMS_SERVICE service binding. If the CMS is unreachable, the public site keeps serving and /admin shows a friendly 503 page.

Quick Start

Astro 7 backgrounds astro dev / astro preview automatically when it detects an AI agent. Set ASTRO_DEV_BACKGROUND=1 or ASTRO_PREVIEW_BACKGROUND=1 to keep the server in the foreground.
